La Vaillance of Telemann was performed by Ferenc Ber (1st tr.), Bence Félegyházi (2nd tr.), Pál Susánszky (3rd tr.) and István Vörös (Fluegelhorn) at a tribute concert to celebrate the 70th birthday of Ms. Éva Nagyiván, the beloved trumpet teacher of generations in Hungary. She was the assisstant professor of trumpet at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Teachers' Training College in Győr for a decade while she had been teaching at music schools and music high schools (secondary schools) in the cities of Veszprém and Budapest for her entire active life. She is the co-writer of a four volume trumpet tutor (Varasdy−Nagyiván−Sztán: Trombitaiskola) which serves as the basis of the elementary curriculum of trumpet teaching not only in Hungary, but the first two books of it in France as well. About the performers: Mr. Ber was a student of Ms. Nagyiván, graduated from the Győr College and now he is a member of the Székesfehérvár Military Band. Mr. Félegyházi studied trumpet at elementary and intermediate level under the direction of Ms. Nagyiván, and he is the successor of hers at the Aladár Tóth Music School in Terézváros, Budapest. Pál Susányszky was her student in Budapest at the Terézváros Music School, now he is an amateur trumpeter. Mr. Vörös graduated from the Győr College in 1990, he teaches trumpet in Zalaegerszeg and he is the deputy manager of the city's music school. The concert was held on 19th of June 2010 at the University Concert Hall of Széchenyi University Tibor Varga Institute of Musical Arts (formerly Synagogue) in Győr, Hungary.
