New York State has experienced a rising number of work zone speed violations in recent years, resulting in numerous highway worker injuries and several deaths. A new Automated Work Zone Speed Monitoring Pilot Program through NYSDOT and the NYSTA is helping to catch speeders in work zones and keep highway workers safe. Slow down or face the fine.
