A student protest in Bengaluru raged crowds and had the police lathi charge students who tried to break the barricade at Mysore bank circle and march towards Vidhana Soudha. The protest is against the National Education Policy. Their placards read, "NEP breaks down the unity in diversity" and "We will never let education be sold, we will never allow NEP.” Students from the Campus Front Of India said that the police were using unnecessary force, and they wanted to just march peacefully. Karnataka became the first state to implement the NEP, and students will continue to protest if the implementation forces Hindi on non-Hindi speaking students. Watch the video to know more.
