When observing the two visual representations, you're not only watching abstract art. What unfolds are two different evolutions of the Internet. To the left, you see the well-entrenched and vastly utilized IPv4. It's what the majority of the world relies on today. On the right is the slow expansion of IPv6, a newer protocol that represents the future of the Internet.
As the Internet continues to grow and devices proliferate, IPv4’s limitations have become increasingly evident. IPv6, with its near-limitless address capacity, offers a solution to these constraints, ensuring the Internet remains scalable and inclusive for future generations.
We felt it was exciting to visually juxtapose these two protocols to give the viewer an idea of the scale and growth of the two networks.
