This video documents my first 28 hours in the capital city of Pristina. It's a place I've wanted to visit for a long time and in spite of its shaky history and overlooked beauty, is a destination anyone should see. Whether it's the low prices or the slightly agog locals, coming here will guarantee an enriching experience for both history, sights and chit chat.
I start my journey at the international airport in Istanbul. In this video I'm being rather spontaneous, which was my intention, in order to recreate the authentic experience I had as best as possible.
Sundays are quiet but the energy soon picks up early evening where most denizens descend on the Saint Mother Tereza boulevard to people watch and stroll with their families and friends.
During this trip I also felt it just to incorporate my encounters with dogs. They are not only an obvious trait to Pristina but something one should be aware of. More information about this can be found by watching my video.
