Recording of the discussion evening EduCafé, focusing on combatting disinformation through education (14 November 2022, Brussels). The discussion was co-organized by the Czelo office and the Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU in Brussels (@zastoupenijmkprieu4866). The invited experts discussed this topic both in the context of higher education and teachers´ preparation (including media literacy), and on the level of learning activities for students and youth. In the second part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to try to escape disinformation on their own by taking part in the Fakescape game.

Josef Šlerka - the head of New Media Studies at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University and a university lecturer, an expert in social media, network data analysis and semiotics.
Kamil Kopecký - associate professor at the Department of Czech Language at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University Olomouc and the head of the Centre for the Prevention of Risky Virtual Communication (PRVOK).
Lucie Čejková - journalist, a Fakescape lecturer (member of the Executive Council of Fakescape) and a researcher at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University.
Aneta Zachová (moderator of the debate) - editor-in-chief of Euractiv.cz.
