This authentic peppered shrimp recipe come straight out of middle quarters St Elizabeth Jamaica. It doesn’t get better than this.
Peppered Shrimp recipe
2 lbs of shrimp (head on, shell on)
Salt (to taste)
3-4 Scotch bonnet pepper (sliced)
10 pimento seeds
1/4 cup vinegar
(I use Annatto powder to make a deep orange color oil, it’s not needed, use any neutral oil)
