For about $30-$35 in materials, using only a circular saw, drill, and speed square, you can make this DIY bench very easily.
The bench is made with
(4) 8ft 2x8 boards
(1) box of 2-1/2 inch exterior screws (24 screws needed total for 1 bench)
We plan to sand and finish the surface of the wood for protection from the elements with paint or varnish, but you could use it as is also.
