This video was taken on the Southern Cross Highway, a highway that bisects southern Taiwan. I've travelled to many places in Taiwan and the Southern Cross Highway always comes out top for me, it is absolutely FANTASTIC. I have driven across it in a car and on a motorbike, before and after typhoon Morakot. Nothing beats doing it on a motorbike as this video shows.

This video was taken at about the 150km mark just after the highest point where the famous sea of clouds are visible from. The road is badly damaged from typhoon Morakot which hit it in August 2009 so there are some pretty scary parts to drive.....but it's completely worth it!!!
