2.5 Million Years away and 220,000 light years in diameter and home to around 1 Trillion stars can make capturing and processing our largest neighbouring galaxy tricky as the core can blow out the rest of the galaxy.
I decided to follow along with the Astronomy Guides tutorial and see how things came out. I also used the AutoScript tools towards the end for some dark edge enhance.
Not 100% happy with this, but definitely significantly better than any of my previous attempts. No happy with the background and some gradients that were still hiding in the shadows.
