Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar said the U.S. has to find a way to reduce the cost of health care and pharmaceuticals, but she doesn’t think Medicare-for-all is the answer. “The big ticket item is to have a public option, and you can do it with Medicaid, you can do it with Medicare. And no, I don’t believe that we should kick half of America off of their private insurance in four years, which is exactly, very clearly, what that bill says, the Medicare-for-all bill.”
