Yesterday on the 1st March, M.V Caledonian Isles made an unusual arrival into Ardrossan.
Due to choppy seas instead of turning round straight away to face the berth, she instead went straight on as if she was going to go into the "Irish Berth" and turned round, went straight on and turned to face the linkspan at the last minute.
To stop the vessel from rolling too much.
This was also the first sailing from Brodick due to adverse weather through the night and into the morning.
