mpressions of Monet at Gardens by the Bay is not actually about money, but rather a multi-sensory exhibition celebrating the life and art of the famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet. It's a unique experience that blends horticulture and digital art to bring Monet's world to life.
The exhibition is held at the Flower Dome, which is one of the cooled conservatories at Gardens by the Bay. It features two main parts:
Impressions of Monet: The Garden is a floral display that recreates the landscapes of Monet's renowned garden at his home in Giverny, France. This includes the iconic pink house, the Japanese bridge over the Water Garden, and scenes from the Clos Normand, the area next to his house.
Impressions of Monet: The Experience is a digital journey through Monet's art. Visitors can use special tablets to explore his paintings in a new way, with light and sound effects that bring the paintings to life.
The exhibition is open from July 12 to September 17, 2024.
