The Panasonic BS1H isn't a new camera now, in fact it's been out for quite some time in the grand scheme of camera releases.
However, I still think it deserves more recognition than it's getting currently, simply because it's a box style camera that can shoot RAW video up to 5.9K for under £3000. The closest competitor would be the Z-Cam E2-F6, but that costs a little more and doesn't have the option to also record BMRaw as well.
Box Style cameras are becoming more and more popular nowadays, and personally, I think they're awesome.
I know Panasonic have a hard sell on their hands when you can get the S1H that's a 'complete' camera for the same price, but if you only shoot video and understand the importance of modularity and versatility, then the BS1H will make total sense to you.
I've been testing this camera for only a couple of weeks and I've used it on a few shoots, so therefore I will have more to say about it and will be making a series of videos about the BS1H in the not-so-distant future.
