Joe the homeowner wants a wood burning stove in the family room, just like the one he had as a kid. Today he’s pitching in to help install the stainless steel piping. Kevin O'Connor finds Joe and chimney expert Jonathan Hawkins on the second floor snaking the pipe up through the roof. On the roof, the pipe is connected and assembled to six feet tall according to the pitch of the roof. They make sure it’s plumb, centered, sealed at the joints and secured to the roof.
