Neakasa M1 Cat Litter Box
This review was taken after 4+ months of daily use with two cats (1 small and 1 large cat) using the unit. It was purchased directly from their Indiegogo campaign in Q4 2023.

Why am I leaving this review
- After several emails (including different email addresses) to their customer service teams I received ZERO response. I'm truly disappointed in being neglected on such a big purchase.

Positive (pros) highlight
- It does what it should BUT not without additional work from the user
- The mobile app works well without any issues including notifications sent to your phone
- When removing the top container it's easy to put back on and off just a little worried when washing that the screws are not rust resistant aka stainless steel.

Negative (cons) highlights, some which are included within the video and others I didn't speak about
- Inside plastics need to be sealed so the litter and urine doesn't seep through the entire top container
- The filter/screen has major flaws
- The smaller cat clumps or waste doesn't get filtered and dumped
- If the cat urinates behind the filter/screen it will cause the cat litter to clump then stack up behind it and it'll never get disposed of
- The bottom waste bin often times has issues when it gets filled and doesn't push the waste toward to front of the tray. Therefore, it stacks at the back
- For 2 cats it will only last a max of 3-4 days, no where near their advertised duration of 14 days.
- Cat urine does easily stick to the bottom and sides.

Biggest Issue
- When the waste bin is full the unit locks (as it's completely upside down) not allowing the cat to use the bathroom. Therefore, if you're not home when this issue happens your cat will be stuck without a place to use the bathroom.
