A short summary of the history / tragedy of Richard III, one of William Shakespeare's lesser-known plays, but one which has captured the imagination of people for centuries. My first go at creating my own content, so in future videos I hope to have ironed out some kinks...

Full of history - skewed or otherwise - and the saga of medieval politics in wartime, this drama has lured some of the greatest actors of our time to it's lead: Laurence Olivier, Ian McKellan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, and more. Furthermore, it has inspired some of our most recent TV favourites like The White Queen and the Hollow Crown.

Richard, Duke of Gloucester, sits by the road and elaborates on this plot to seize the English crown. On his way to glory, he will have to twist and turn as people need to be eliminated from the crooked path of this crooked man.
