Sinigang is a popular tamarind flavored soup dish all over in the Philippines. There are countless way of cooking of this recipe and you can create your own version.
The Ingredients:
1.5 to 2kg bone in beef (buto-buto)
500 grms red ripe tomatoes
bunch of pechay or kangkong
2 medium head onions
250 grms taro or gabi
2 long chili green
3 tbsp fish sauce
3 tbsp tamarind powder - as you like
1/8 tsp of salt - your salt preference
1/2 tsp pepper - your pepper preference
1.5 to 2 liters water
OPTIONAL YOU CAN ADD:
Okra
Eggplant
Radish
