Thermal Sunder is one of the fastest and strongest nukes in the game, and when wielded by Gauss can scale to levelcap. This is because above 80% redline, heat Thermal Sunder doubles the damage of each consecutive cast and then applying cold sunder armor strips first then compresses all existing heat procs and deals it in one large blast damage instance.
For the actual circuit run, I decided to use Muzzle Flash as backup crowd control against eximus as Sunder seems to drop off against overguard very quickly, especially by level 1000. Make sure you have a decent weapon that can handle levelcap eximus. I dropped mach rush for shooting gallery and used purely cold sunder to build battery (alternate 2 cold sunder with 1 heat until 100% redline), and you have to drop either flow, primed continuity or augur reach for muzzle flash augment (I dropped primed continuity as i had lots of duration shards).
AMP BUILD: x46 e.g. 746. Phahd Scaffold is a homing disc that can seek out and kill enemies, capable of killing levelcap with decrees. I have recently swapped to 6 (Plaga) Brace for low recharge delay, essentially allowing constant Phahd spam.
AMP ARCANES: Eternal Onslaught and Eternal Eradicate.
FOCUS SCHOOL: Vazarin Protective Sling gives you 5s of immortality without cooldown and Guardian Shell + Guardian Break gives shield regen and reduced shield regen delay that stacks with redline giving effective immortality.
REQUIRED/PRIORITY DECREES:
Envious Economy: Cast ability gives up to 90% chance for next cast to be free.
Bounce Back: Refund 25% of energy on cast.
Morale Boost: good QoL for energy economy
Twofold Torment: Double heat status damage which greatly increases sunder damage
Close Contagion: Spreads heat statuses from sunder
Shattering Frost R3: Deal up to 240% dmg with cold status.
Persistent Attrition: Increases damage vulnerability
OPTIONAL DECREES: Critical Frost, Wrymling's Aid, Temporal Acceleration, Proficient Fighter
