The Tivoli Youth Guard is an icon of the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen’s most famous garden and amusement park.

The Guard was established in 1844 by the founder of the Tivoli Gardens, Georg Carstensen, and is the world’s oldest youth marching band.

The 90 members of the Tivoli Youth Guard aged 9 to 16 attend one of the three detachments: Pipes and Drums, the Colour Guard or the Concert Band.
