In this video, I'm sharing with you some Japanese New Year Traditions and the meaning behind the osechi ryori dishes. Yup, every single dish symbolize something! I'll be chatting about some things I did in Japan during Osho gatsu as well as sharing the dishes I made this year to prepare the traditional Japanese New Years dish, osechi ryori.
Although I live in Hawaii *miles away from my fam in Japan* I try to practice some of the Japanese traditions that I enjoyed growing up.
Maybe next year I'll try to make a recipe video *unless I'm in Japan*.
