The world's longest railway tunnel, the Gotthard Base Tunnel, is set to officially open in Switzerland. It's taken nearly 20 years to construct the 57-kilometer tunnel, with billions of US dollars investment, which rips through the Gotthard Massif, part of the Swiss Alps.
