Ingredients to make Ginger Bread Cookies
Butter - 90 gms
Jaggery Powder - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1
Flour - 2 cup
Clove Powder - 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder - 2 tsp
Ginger Powder - 2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Ingredients for icing
Egg white - 2
Powdered Sugar - 3 - 4 cups
Method to make gingerbread cookies
1. Blend the soft butter till its fluffy and add jaggery powder.
2. Mix egg with butter and slowly add the dry ingredients and
make it into a cookie dough.
3. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
4. Take out the dough and roll it, cut out the cookies using cookie cutters.
5. Bake them in a 180-degree pre-heated oven for 25 minutes.
6. To make icing blend egg whites and powdered sugar till it becomes ribbon consistency.
7. Once the cookies cool down you can start icing them.
