Hello 👋 friends and welcome back to RtR!
So VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. It’s pretty much like a phone number for your car. Every vehicle has a specific vin number for a specific vehicle. It tells you a lot of information about your car but it’s is mostly just used by the dealers to be able to look up your vehicles specs. The vin will always be located of the drivers side of the vehicle on the bottom of the front windshield. There will be a small clear rectangular opening that will have your number. That number can be used if you want to know if your vehicle has any recalls on it. You will be able to just punch it in online and it will tell you if you have any TSB (technical service bulletin), or recalls!
