mathri/khasta mathri
Ingredients
1.Maida/ all purpose flour-3 cups
2. whole wheat flour-1 cup
3. kasuri methi-2 tspn
4. Ajwain-1. 5 tspn
5. oil -3-4 tspn for moin
method: mix all the ingredients & add water very little in batches & knead a stiffdough. cover it & keep aside for 20 mins.Take 1 portion (bigger one) &roll it , then spread little oil on it evenly, fold it half again apply oil &fold . Again roll it into a bigger thicker roti sized shape & cut into vertical strips.
Deep fry in sim to medium hot oil. on both sides when they are golden brown take them out.
Note: you can store them in an air tight container for 15-20 days.
