How to create layer groups - Follow these steps:

- Click right mousebutton in the layer window and click on 'New Layer Group'.
- A new layer group is created, but there are no layers in it yet.
- Click left mousebutton on a layer and hold while dragging it into a layer group.
- Release the mousebutton to drop the layer.
- There are two layers in the group now.
- You can hide each layer seperately.
- Or hide the whole layer group at once.
- Click on the plus/minus icon to open or close the layer group.
- When you select the layer group, you can move all layers inside it together.
- Time for some undo actions.
- All layers will be put into the layer group now.
- Now you can hide and move all layers at once.
