Calvin Smith (born January 8, 1961 in Bolton, Mississippi) - American sprinter.
1983 world record holder in 100 m and twice in the 4 x 100 m relay. At the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki, he won gold medals in the 200 m race and in the 100 m race in the 4 x 100 m relay and a silver medal in 100 m (he lost to Carl Lewis). At the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles he won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 m relay. He defended the 200 m title at the World Championships in Rome At the next Olympics in 1988 in Seoul, he won the bronze medal individually for 100 m. In the final he was 4th. but winner Ben Johnson was disqualified for doping.
