The Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen, 2021 release) this Amazon Echo Show 8 looks the same as the earlier version, this smart display clock shows an HD resolution of 1280 x 800, and as I've said in the video there's a minimal change from the previous version but it still does its job. If you have an earlier version of Echo Show 8 and it still works fine, then there's no need to upgrade to 2nd gen, but if you have the budget for it then why not? All I can say is that this product is still good especially if you're planning to upgrade from Echo Show 5 2nd gen to Echo Show 8 2nd gen.
