While the world is trying to diplomatically solve Afghanistan crisis, China has decided to befriend Taliban. China reportedly gave a warm welcome to Taliban leaders for a two-day talk over Afghan peace process. A 9-member delegation led by Taliban leader Mullah Baradar Akhund met Chinese Foreign Minister on July 27. The visit comes amid rapid increase in Taliban’s offensive and violence in Afghanistan.
