Patient experience is at the forefront of USF Health’s newest iniitiative. Now patients can expect to receive Press Ganey’s patient satisfaction surveys.
These surveys will help define what quality and safety improvements are needed. From timeliness to communication to follow-up appointments and outcomes, for the first time here at USF Health, patients will be able to give providers feedback.
It’s a patient-focused trend to support health care consumers with online reviews and ratings, that they can use to select a health care provider. This greater patient engagement actually improves health outcomes.
Over 12,0000 surveys have already been sent to patients via emails and addresses. It’s the first rollout of many more to come.
