I LOVE the convenience of protein bars, but I hate the price. Don't get me wrong, I totally buy protein bars, but in order to save money I make my own and switch it up! These are my favorite homemade bars so far...and I wanted to share them with all of you! Hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: These bars are NOT exactly like RX Bars, I find RX bars are a lot chewier, and from what I have found they use egg white protein powder, this recipe uses liquid egg whites for affordability purposes. They are softer than regular RX bars, but regardless, are still super tasty!

Recipe:
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup cashews
1 cup dates
3/4 cup egg whites
1-2 tsp maple extract
1/4 tsp salt

Toppings: walnuts & extra sea salt

Oven temp: 350 F , 10-12 minutes
