From Terrence Malick, the acclaimed director of such classic films as Badlands, Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line, came The Tree of Life. It is the impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's and about how brute nature and spiritual grace shapes all life.

Terrence Malick's masterpiece The Tree of Life (2011) appeared on over 70 film critics' year-end top ten lists, including 15 first-place rankings. In the 2012 Sight & Sound critics' poll, 16 critics, including Roger Ebert, voted it one of the ten greatest films of all time.

Bishop Father Robert Barron speaks in his analysis of Malick's film about the themes and the story, and about what he thinks it all means.

This a tribute to Malick's masterpiece The Tree of Life (2011). As well as a tribute to Father Robert Barrons brilliant explanation and interpretation of the film. I am not a believer of any religion, but I still find this interpretation valid beyond religious beliefs.
