In this DIY feature, Steve replaces the impeller in a Mercruiser Alpha One sterndrive. Not quite as easy as the Bravo 3 with its remote water pump, the Alpha pump is located in the lower unit, which has to be removed. But with a few common tools and a few tips, you can do this yourself. Don't forget to keep a spare onboard, just in case!
