From "How To Heal Toxic Thoughts" by Sandra Ingerman:
"When we find ourselves facing conflict...our mind often attaches to some past experience that triggers a fear or survival reaction. Part of our work is to learn to discern the difference between a real threat that warrants our attention and a perceived threat created by our mind."
The exercise explained in the book and video is a very simple exercise to help learn the discernment between the thinking mind (not always the most accurate in terms of information) and the intuitive mind which knows Truth.
Practice saying this over a week to notice how you feel saying these statements and if you can begin to differentiate between triggers and your inner knowing.
:
INTUITIVE MIND
I want to live a life where I am fulfilled and healthy I know the truth of who I am. I am unwilling to settle for a life filled with superficiality.
vs
THINKING MIND
I do not want to live a life where I am fulfilled and healthy and know the truth of who I am. I'm willing to settle for a life filled with superficiality.
Where do you feel it in your body when you say each of those? How do you feel when you are saying them? Do you have any pictures that pop into your head?

WHY MINDFUL MONDAYS?
We all know that Mondays get a bad wrap. It's the favorite day of the week to blame for whatever goes wrong and hate on historically by kids and adults alike for being the first day of the work/school week. So with that in mind and in an attempt to lighten up the heavy feeling of Mondays by bringing in some mindfulness to kick off the day and week on the right foot and with a positive attitude.
We must really learn how to BYOBFF!

Paying it 4ward! is an extension of Pay It 4ward Marketing, a business in the making, literally!
(But seriously, aren’t we all a work in progress?)
My name is Tracey Noriega and I am documenting my entrepreneurial journey while I am learning the necessary digital marketing skills across many platforms and experimenting with putting what I learn into practice real time! That means totally operating outside of my comfort zone, pushing boundaries, being vulnerable, confronting the fear of failing, looking like a fool and being judged while learning to get comfortable with feeling extremely uncomfortable.
