Hey guys. In this video we will see how to fix a disapproved ad for destination not working.
Check [ Ссылка ] for more Google Ads tips & tricks.
Destination not working means that the URL which you have entered into the Google Ads system may have some issues, this may have happened due to manual error while entering the URL, any recent changes on the website including website upgrade or migration.
Here are the reasons:
1. Check for 404 page not found error
You may have a situation where your pages might not be working and hence your ads may have been disapproved.
If you are in this situation then fixing your website should do the job.
2. Check the server response code to be 200 OK
You can use [ Ссылка ] or any other tool to check the HTTP response code of your page.
If you get 200 then it’s all good from this side.
The HTTP 200 OK success status response code indicates that the request has succeeded.
3. Check for Force HTTPS on your server
Google Ads requires a HTTPS secure connection. If you just enabled your SSL certificate, or you activated the Force HTTPS option on your server give it some time to propagate.
4. Check for Multiple Redirects
Too many redirects may cause poor user experience and delay in load time and it could be the possible reasons for Google disapproving your Ads.
Use [ Ссылка ] to find out if you may have multiple redirect issues on your page.
Once all fixes are done on your website or to your URL take these steps to resubmit your ad for approval.
There are two ways to fix a disapproved ad:
1. Make edits to the ad, forcing a review.
2. Submit an appeal to either dispute the issue or affirm you’ve made changes in compliance with Google policies.
1. If you opt to edit the ad, the following changes will work:
Change the path.
Add an asset to the Responsive Search/Display ad.
Change the Final URL (can be the original URL – just copy and paste it).
Make a slight adjustment to a headline or description.
2. If you opt to appeal the decision (accessed by hovering over the ad status), you’ll be given the option to appeal for:
Current ad group.
Current campaign.
Entire account.
