HUBweek hosted an unprecedented civic event, led by one of the world’s leading political philosophers, in an iconic Boston setting: Faneuil Hall, on Sunday October 4th.
Harvard’s Michael Sandel has been described as “the most relevant living philosopher,” a “rockstar moralist,” (Newsweek) and “currently the most popular professor in the world.” (Die Zeit)
During the Fenway Forum at Faneuil Hall, he led an all-star panel featuring Arianna Huffington, Yo-Yo Ma, Alexis Wilkinson, Andrew McAfee and Sherry Turkle in a lively discussion—with audience participation—about some hard ethical questions and the meaning of citizenship today.
The event featured special musical performances by the Silk Road Ensemble.
