With heavy radiation and chemotherapy, and a supportive family and doctor, Scott Vetter shares his journey on becoming HPV cancer-free. Today, he uses his story to encourages providers to let parents know how they can reduce the risk of HPV cancers in their children.
HPV vaccination is recommended for boys and girls at ages 11-12 to prevent the types of HPV infections that cause cervical, head and neck, anal, and other genital cancers.
