This video is just a general over view of how the column treatment process is done !
I have made it so all the new architects and students will get to know atleast the basic process of column treatment-
the process goes like -
1. the columns are checked and marked for the damaged areas
2. the Marked columns are then stripped till the RCC is visible
3. then a rust diluter is added its mostly antirust acid then the Reinforcement is again cleaned .
4.Anti rust primer or Zinc primer is applied on the Reinforcement and is allowed to set for a day
5. then on the next day the scafolding or shuttering is erected around the column.
6. A thick paste of Micronised Concrete is prepared and then poured in the shuttering and the curing time is around 6 days.
