This is from the Romulan Incident part two, where the romulan warbird fired its lasers and damaged one of the enterprise D's Warp nacelles causing the plasma to leak out into space. The engineering is evacuated for warp core ejection,while you see a clip from Star trek 6 the Undiscovered Country warp core scene. Then the core is ejected safely into space and explodes,causing a massive shockwave that rocks the ship. Why could Geordi not do this in generations is beyond me he could have saved the ship but he didnt
