Next to the sea a family has built their own spot for "hygge" and slow living in Northern Norway. A little boat has been turned into a playground for the kids. A small cabin for grilling food or being inside when the weather is bad. And finally some lounge chairs for sitting in the sun while relaxing and having a good slow life! I find this place charming and quite idyllic❤

The cabin is of the type called "grillhytte" (barbecue cabin/hut) in Norwegian. This is a pavilion with a fireplace for having a barbecue and "hygge". These cabins are quite popular in the countryside in Norway!
According to Wikipedia "hygge" means: "Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. As a cultural category with its sets of associated practices hygge has more or less the same meanings in Danish and Norwegian, but the notion is more central in Denmark than in Norway."
