Ovo je tradicionalni recept sa juga Srbije.
Hladno vreme zahteva kvalitetnu i jaku hranu.
Pihtije su upravo tada pripremaju na Krstovdan a
jedu na Bogojavljanje 19. januara.
Ukusne, mekane i kalorične. Spremaju se lako a jedu se u slast.
Goveđi želatin sadrži dijetetski kolagen, prolin, glicin i protein. Smatra se da ima pozitivan uticaj na zdravlje kože, kose i noktiju, pomaže kod bolova u zglobovima, zateže kožu, dobar je za probavni i imuni sistem, a pretpostavlja se i da smanjuje pojavu celulita. Trećinu svih aminokiselina u želatinu čini glicin koji je poznat po antiupalnim dejstvima pa je dobar kod zarastanja ranam regeneracije kože, a povoljno utiče i na kvalitet sna.

- dimljena svinjska kolenica
- dimljena svinjska vešalica
- so u zavisnosti od toga koliko je dimljeno meso slano
- beli luk po želji i ukusu
- voda da prelije meso.

- smoked pork shank
- smoked pork hanger
