About Dr Alexis Economou:

Dr. Economou works with patients who are dealing with a variety of problems and various diagnoses of mental illness. He specialises in working with clients who have difficult-to-diagnose persistent symptoms that may be caused by abrasive relationships, certain personality traits, other emotional issues, or chronic trauma. In recent years, he has honed his skills in treating patients whose symptoms have no known medical cause.

In order to develop a formulation and, possibly, a diagnosis that makes sense for you specifically, Dr. Economou will get to know you as a whole person. After formulation and diagnosis, Dr. Economou bases his approach to treatment on a bio-psycho-social framework. As a result, he will take into consideration holistic, personal treatment plans that may include lifestyle suggestions, attending therapy sessions, and taking medication when necessary.
