The rattle or knock (or both) come from the loss of oil pressure to specific places in your engine. The Jilcat Proline product for Gas Engines will clean and condition the metals in your motor which will help the oil pressure return to its normal flow and pressure. Your 4.7 gets power from timing advance as the RPM's climb. The timing advances because of the oil pressure increase. The oil pressure cannot increase due to blockage from SLUDGE.
