Oral Contraceptive Pills are known to cause weight gain in a majority of people who take it, but the effect is not constant or uniform in all people, some people do gain more weight, some people don’t gain any. Usually, once the oral contraceptive pills are stopped, the gained weight comes down. Some people, might retain the weight if they are genetically pre-disposed to being obese.
