“Cubic Capacity” is a 2-minute short film about a day in the life of a college student in digital art who is trying to render an animation sequence on his computer but becomes distracted. His fantasies lead him on a journey of speed, cars and outer space… although he is still a college student, so his daydreaming may be short-lived. The project is a mix of live action and visual effects using Unreal Engine, showcasing the director’s abilities with both, as well as production skills like motion capture. Why the need for speed? The director loves fast cars!
