Girl Defined is a channel that made its name in defining "biblical womanhood" to a generation of young women. In a recent video they made their thoughts clear on "Christian women" reading erotica (which is how they classified the books that Colleen Hoover writes?) and how very unacceptable that is to them, even going so far as to say that it is the reason women are stressed and have depression.

I try not to do a ton of these reaction videos, but I do believe very strongly in a sex positive message. I also want you to understand how important it is to clarify how harmful these videos and views actually are.

So check out this week's Ask a Therapist video to disect the messages that are actually being shared, and some ways to make sure you are able to pull them apart yourself.
