Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was livestreamed on April 27, 2016. It features Marcel Drimer, who was born in Drohobycz, Poland (now in Ukraine) in 1934. Marcel and his family survived the Holocaust thanks to a Ukrainian family hiding them. They were liberated by Soviet forces in August 1944.
