We traveled almost 4,000 miles in 19 days through 7 states in June 2022.
We visited 5 National Parks, 4 National Monuments, 1 National Memorial,
1 National Historic Site, and many other places.
We'd like to share how and what we did to have great family adventures.
- Theodore Roosevelt National Park

It's the one and only national park in North Dakota.
It was established as Theodore Roosevelt National Memorial Park in 1947 to honor Teddy Roosevelt and became a national park in 1978.
There are three units - North Unit, South Unit, and Elk Horn Ranch Unit.
We went on the scenic drives in North and South Unit and did not go to any unpaved roads.
This park was our 16th National Park visited as a family.
We appreciated its beautiful scenery and wildlife.
We were glad we decided to go there :-)
