The city of Valkenburg is transformed into a winter wonderland during the holiday season. The most popular attraction that visitors come to see is the famous "caves" or quarries. The Limburg region has hundreds of miles of quarries that are filled with a rich history such as charcoal murals and secret passageways.

This is by far one of the most unique experiences I’ve had during my time living in the Netherlands.
