Working with intercultural communities of teachers has become increasingly more common in remote teaching as it is easier to communicate with teachers from all over the Americas region. As classrooms become increasingly multicultural and multi-ethnic, teachers need to acquire the knowledge, skills and attributes to adapt successfully to culturally diverse classrooms, engage learners and promote understanding and tolerance among cultures.
Two experts on cultural engagement (one from Brazil; another from Peru) will discuss their perspectives and experiences and will share practical resources to use in your lessons.
